IF

If I obey His bidding, I will learn what blessings are.

If I obey is teaching, my life will be enriched by far.

If I obey His wooing, if I heed His call of love,

I’ll walk with deep compassion focused on things above.

If I obey His nudging, if I obey by personal choice

The God who knows my history will with my angels rejoice.

DEAR LORD, When obedience is the last thing I want to do, give me strength to choose Your Way.

Forgive me for the times when I have “dragged my feet” in obedience. Thank you for Your Patience with me today and everyday. Help me to grow a teachable heart. You love me more than I deserve. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
