November 15 – John 21:21-22- “Lord, what shall
this man do? What is that to thee? Follow thou Me.
Remember to read My Utmost for His Highest for
MEDDLING
Forgive me Lord for meddling
In the life of the ones I love.
Forgive me Lord for usurping
Your love sprinkled from above.
Forgive me Lord, for eclipsing
What You had planned to do.
Dear Lord, forgive my meddling
Under the umbrella of “Serving You”.
Forgive me, Lord for the focus
Of a mother’s trembling heart
I saw the evil that was pulling
My child from the very start.
Forgive me Lord for interference.
Forgive my lack of faith.
Forgive me Lord, for disrupting
Lessons that we all need to face.
Forgive me Lord for pushing
For my loved ones to be in your fold
Forgive me Lord for not trusting enough
Your timed process will refine us as gold.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Sometimes wonderful intentions get in God’s Way. Journal your opinion.
Manipulation sometimes backfires. Explain. What methods could be put in place to help well-intended folk occupy themselves in a less meddlesome manner? Who learns the most in these situations? What kind of a celebration might the meddler have in readiness for answered prayer?
DEAR LORD, Forgive us for the times we have run ahead of You and Your plans. Teach us to learn and to claim the promises found in Your Word? Thank You for Your Patience with us as we learn patience. Help us not to be discouraged during the waiting room experiences of life. Keep us focused on the celebration almost in view. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
