ENERGY  

I was proud of all my energy

And what I could do for Him.

God said, “Child stop and be quiet

Your energy is sometimes a whim”

I was pleased with all my ideas.

Creativity flowed like a stream

God said, “Child, relax in My Presence

I have plans for you beyond what you dream.

All of your talents and ambitions

Are wonderfully bright and grand

But when do you stop a moment to listen?

Are you sure what you’re doing is My Plan?

This is not about enterprises or endeavors.

This is not about energy or style.

The best way to harness your ministry

Is to bask in My Presence a while!

Let Me orchestrate your energy.

Allow My Presence and My Plans to flow,

God ordained projects created within you

Under My Anointing will flourish and grow.”

DEAR LORD, Thank you for deciding which abilities and talents should be created in me. Thank you for showing me that these are merely launching pads for something greater for You.  Hold me with Your Divine lasso, so I don’t run ahead as the momentum swells. Thank you Lord, that I will always be in process until I see You face to face. Keep me teachable Lord, In Jesus’ Name AMEN.
