November 20- Ephesians 1:7-“In whom we have the forgiveness of sins"

FORGIVENESS COSTS
Let us never forget the price tag of the Man who hung on the cross.
Let us never forget the lifeblood shed because we were completely lost.
Let’s never forget the loneliness of the view of His Father’s Back
God turned away from Jesus who was carrying our sin’s entire stack.
What agony Jesus suffered when His Father could not look
Can we understand the Power that staying on the cross took?
When His blood was shed for my pardon, it washed all of my sin away.
Calvary made an eternal difference when Jesus chose to die that day.
I’m aware of the Power of
His loving. I deserved to be the one to die.
Jesus chose to risk God’s rejection so that I could face His Father

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: To
risk life, by giving birth, to take punishment for another’s evil or to donate
a vital organ for transplant, all involve deep human sacrifice. Journal the
emotional decision making required for each of the above. We think of the
physical suffering of Jesus, but what about the emotional rejections and cruelty
He bore.
God will never turn
His back on us. Why did He turn His back on Jesus? Journal your response.
DEAR LORD,
Volumes have been
written about Your Gethsemane, Calvary and Graveyard experiences. Thank You
seems so trite.
Because of the
gratitude I feel in my heart towards You, I want to serve You and tell others
about what You did for us. Thanks for spending Your time now praying for us and
preparing our heavenly home. I am looking forward to spending eternity with You.
I would like to be first in line to say THANK YOU. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
PS.
Help me to live in such a way that You are glad You died for me.
