SHALLOW THINGS

Perpetual, daily duties often frustrate me

Jesus whispers, “Child of Mine, come cuddle on My knee.

Find courage in the little things. That’s where the rubber meets the road.

It is in the mundane; daily tasks where God lifts many a heavy load.

As a little child up on your bed, Jesus came and saved your soul.

Cleaning house was on your mind, when the Holy Spirit began His flow.

So enjoy the mundane tasks today. Is God’s appointment waiting for you?

Pick up the chores and daily tasks, you might hear from God if you do!

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Journal a time when God met you when He was the farthest thing from your mind at the time. Did that encounter change your life? Journal your most recent encounter with God. Where were you?

Watch for Him to show up everyday, especially in the mundane chores of life/

DEAR LORD, Thank You that You always show up, because You have promised never to leave us or forsake us.

Thank you for giving me joys in the mundane things of life. Keep on zapping me with sacred surprises. I realize the privileges I have in You, In Jesus’ Name, AMEN
