VINDICATION

 

I needed tender loving comfort. I deserved to be accusation free.

But no one and nothing vindicated. I was alone in false misery.

 

Then I looked towards the Master. He said, “Child come unto Me.

I will defend and protect you. Stay near Me and you will be free.

 

Leave what has happened to God’s Mercy. Truth will someday be revealed.

Intercede on behalf of all hurting. Jesus didn’t argue. He healed.

 

God saw what happened to hurt you. God knows all truth if folk ask

Trust and forgive weary Pilgrim. Now surrender and lay down that ax!

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Have you ever been falsely accused and had no defense or the witnesses who could have defended you did not? Journal your frustrations. What part of forgiveness is the most difficult in these situations?

 

DEAR LORD: Thank You that You neither slumber nor sleep. Thank You that You are aware of every circumstantial and false accusation. Give me Your Peace as I walk through this trial. Thank you that in the loneliness of false accusations, Your eyes are lovingly comforting me. In Jesus” Name, AMEN.
