November 27- Galatians 6:14-“By whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world”
MY INTERESTS
Am I interested in baubles or in planning exotic, expensive trips?
Am I enthused about the opera or a new recipe for chip-dip?
Am I interested in literature, music or big -bands?
Is whatever my major interest filtered by His Hands?
If I concentrate on Jesus, if I keep my focus clear,
Then whatever I’m involved in will be drawing people near.
Jesus mixed with people. He majored in relationships with His fellow
man.
His example was of eternal interest and His message covered the land
What are my major interests? Are they worthwhile, practical things?
If I am crucified with Jesus, my interests will please the King.

What activity could you “not do without”? Has it come between you
and the plans the Lord has for your day?
In the light of eternity which activities might you drop? Journal your
decisions.
DEAR LORD, Thank you for showing me that I only have one life to live
for You. Only what is done for You will last. Lead me to wise activities that
please You. Thank you Lord, that You want me to have balance in our lives.
Help me to play wholesomely and to work creatively so that I fully honor You in every interest. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
