ABOVE AND BEYOND

He wants to elevate me far above what I am now.

He wants to resurrect me from the mundane and the plow.

He wants to free and heal me from where I am today.

But His hands are tied forever unless I am destitute, His Way.

I must come to the end of my control. , I must come to the end of myself.

When I am destitute enough to surrender, He will lift me above to Himself.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Destitute means to be in great need. How in need are you for the Power and Presence of the Lord in your life? As long as you can handle and control everything yourself. He will let you. When you come to the end of your manipulations, He will be waiting. Journal the reasons for your delay in admitting your destitution.(need). Journal the difference He makes in your life.

Dear Lord, Thank You for the fact that Your Grace makes me a candidate for Your forgiveness and love.

Help me to dig in deeper and press into Your arms enough to know that You have not offered Your Grace to me, just to make me justified but also to birth wonderful things in me. Thank you for the basics. Thank you for what You are going to do beyond my salvation with my life Thank you that Your justification also offers me a “forever friend” relationship. In Jesus’ Name AMEN.
