What is the Call of the Father?

What creates true service for Him?

God uses ordinary people with obedience.

His anointing flows when personal agendas dim.

God uses ordinary people with surrender.

Offering their aptitudes honed by the Lord.

Excitement builds with His anointing

When the Holy Spirit is welcome on board.

What is a Call? It’s compelling.

What gifts are lying dormant inside?

The Call and natural gifting blend together

Creating a masterpiece in which He abides.

The business that God does is eternal.

Participants simply surrender control.

God can take any weakened vessel

And reshape with strong heavenly goals.

Lord, help me to surrender today’s programs.

Make me sensitive enough to hear clues

So that today when You try to Call me

I’ll recognize Your Voice and obey You.

Journal Jottings: The Call of God is only heard by a few. Journal times when you have heard and recognized the Call of God on your life. What difference did that make to you?

Have you asked for a Call recently? Does God renew Calls? Is His Call perpetual?

Journal the results of a life constantly obeying His Call.  Remember: A Call is not a Call unless it is answered. It is only a wrong number. How sad for Him!

DEAR LORD: Thank you for the privilege of being Called. Make me brave enough to listen. Make me willing to be willing to be used today. Thank you Lord that You keep on loving me, even if I neglect to answer those Calls You intended for me.

I wonder how many times You Called someone else, because my phone (life) was too busy? Forgive me Lord. Thank you that you are the God of second chances. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
