ECHO
An echo is a funny thing, it boomerangs right back.
Leaving the source loud and clear but later weakening under attack.
When an echo hits the right surface, it resounds around for a while
Echoing on and on ‘til it fades, sometimes travelling for miles.
What in my life has become an echo for Him?
Is my message worthy to repeat?
Or has my life become distorted and dim?
With nothing to lay at Your feet?
Do I treasure the Word of God deep inside?
Do I honor the News that it brings?
Do I represent well the Son of God?
Do I honor the King of all Kings?
Do I know when to hush and when to keep still?
Do I know when to speak and declare?
Whatever the message I offer today
Is the Presence of God always there?
Lord, help us echo all that You are.
Help us carry Your News near and far.
Clearly representing all of Your joy
Until Your Echoes resound to the stars.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Go to a place where you can make an echo. Notice that an echo has more listening time than speaking time. Try this with God. Write a statement. Listen to the echo. Enjoy the thoughts He gives. Journal them. You will be surprised at the anointing of your thoughts. You thought they were yours, but they were really His planted in you. The more time you spend in the Word, the more you will Echo Him.
Dear Lord, Thank you for the joys of nature that You created. You even decided to create echoes. Help me to represent You so well, that people will hear Your Voice echoing through me.
I long to represent You well in every area of life. Thank you for the knowledge and advantages of holiness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
