STALENESS

I met a Christian man today as stale as last year’s bread.

I saw no life surrounding him. He was like a Zombie in his head.

Bitterness had robbed his joy. Jealousies crowded his heart.

He only did a minimum of work, waiting until noon to start.

I saw his pain. I felt God’s love. His wounds were deep and real.

If only he’d drop his moldy bread, the Lord wants to reveal and heal.

LATER…..

I saw the same man. I had prayed for him.

He had given God permission to work.

Historical stuff, he chose to forgive

Sin’s bondage is broken,  prayer works.

That man is now free, that’s why Jesus came.

That man allows Christ in his life.

I’ve seen a miracle happen today…

Now let’s begin to pray for his wife!

JOURNA L JOTTINGS- Lack of gratitude can become a habit and then a life style.

Satan controls negative thinking. It is his playground. Journal the advice you would give that unforgiving man in the poetry. Journal the steps you take daily to control negative thinking.

Dear Lord, Thank You for the miracle of restoration. Thank you that you have given me the tools from Your Word to prevent negative attitudes. Thank you for the attitude of gratitude that You are building in me. May this attitude become contagious?  In Jesus’ Name AMEN.
