Remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today

KINDNESS

Have I showed any kindness to God today?

Have I been thankful and full of cheer?

Or have I bickered and groused somehow

Until someone shed some tears?

Have I showed some kindness to God today?

Have I spent time alone with Him?

Or have I busied myself with trivial stuff

And run here and there on a whim?

Have I showed any kindness to God today?

Have I basked in His Presence some?

Alone with God is a joy to Him.

He’s the Source of any kindness that comes.

Kindness to God is kindness to me.

I benefit in delightful ways.

God and I have a personal start

As kindness flows through me today.

DEAR LORD, Thank you for being my friend. Help me to NEVER take YOU for granted. Love is kindness. Thank you for being kind enough to love me just as I am. Help me to love others with the same kindness and understanding.  In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
