January 26- Matthew 6:30- “If God so clothed the grass of the field…shall He not much more clothe you?”
Remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today
WHERE I AM PLACED
This might not be of my choosing
But God says, “I placed you there.”
This might seem far too simplistic
But God says, “Child, I’m aware.”
This might not be very flattering.
It might not be my first choice.
But God says, “Child, I know you
Someone there needs My Heart and My Voice.”
So, I without question will serve Him,
No matter the place, space or time.
And God says, “Child I will lead you
Your obedience proves that you’re Mine!”

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Choices, decisions and opportunities were once seeds. God wants us to plant seeds for Him in a variety of fields. Consecration leads us to the appropriate field during each season of life. Journal your journey of seed planting. Harvesting requires time and patience. Only eternity will tally the results of obedience. Journal the most insignificant ministry/seed planting you have enjoyed. What sacred surprises did you learn while tending the crops? List them.
DEAR LORD, Help me to remember to be content wherever You place me in life and in ministry. As I memorize, “Godliness with contentment is great gain” may I receive the contentment that only a love encounter with You brings. Thank You for the privilege of serving You today and everyday. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
