January 29-“Acts 26:15-“Who art Thou, Lord?”

Remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today

WHO ART THOU LORD?

Who are You when I feel You in a quiet, whispered breeze?

Who are You when I see You in the freshly budding leaves?

Who are You in the echoes of memories warm and keen?

Who are You when You Call me and I try to not be seen?

You are that Gentle Whisper. You are the Promise of Spring.

You are the God of my tomorrows. To You I owe everything.

PS. But Lord, Where are You when I need you? Who are You when I fear?

(Lord, Are You tired of all my questions?)

God smiles, “Every question I will cherish my dear!”

“Sometimes I will send the answers. Sometimes I want you to wait.

But be assured my weary Pilgrim, My answers will never be late.”

DEAR LORD, Thank you for the gift of intelligence and aptitude. After I pray about things, help me to wisely make decisions considering all the facts known and unknown. Please stretch my spiritual walk enough to increase my faith for every life need. Help me to realize that every prayer does not receive an instantaneous reply. Help me to continually and regularly deposit my needs into Your safekeeping. Help me to receive the gift of Peace that time in Your Presence always brings. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
