WAITING

Waiting is a silly thing. It frustrates my soul a lot.

Time is wasting alone all by myself. Late folk make me very hot.

Waiting is a boring thing. My mind battles words to be fought.

I’m never bored while waiting, but good for my blood pressure, NOT!

Waiting could be a time with God, but I struggle and battle inside.

Waiting is not my favorite sport. Frustrations make me “Fit to be tied.”

“Hold on my child”, the Father calls. “Whose time is wasted here?”

Who owns your moments and your days? Let’s get this time thing clear.”

God holds all our hours with enough time for each day.

The problem is we impulsively fuss for our own way.

We grasp and grab for time control. We set daily schedules in stone.

But God says,  “There are lessons to learn while waiting on your own.”

God created waiting. He teaches obedience without power.

He prepares us for His service requiring flexible, indefinite hours.

God has Divine Purposes. He can organize life delays

He rearranges our plans, which He might reveal, if we pray.

Consult God’s Daily Planner. He has an organized point of view.

He dearly loves you and is planning sacred surprises for you.

Watch for His Surprises. Waiting prayerfully for each one.

Understanding His Guidance might shorten the waiting already begun!

JOURNAL JOTTINGS- Journal times when you thought you were wasting time waiting.

Have you ever found that the waiting became a Divine Appointment?

Dear Lord, forgive my impatience in the waiting rooms of life. Help me to use the time wisely by at least praying for those also involved in the waiting process. I know my times are in Your Hands. Thank you for loving me in spite of my impatience. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
