INTIMATE JOY

I want to please my Master.  I long to see His face.

So if I take the time to worship, more intimacy I’ll trace.

I want to please my Master. I long to know Him more.

If I spend time in His Presence, He’ll strengthen my weakest pore.

I want to please my Master, I desire to know Him well.

Every moment spent in His Presence strengthens His message to tell.

I want to please my Master. I desire to harvest more fruit.

When I’m intimate with my Jesus, His imprint becomes my pursuit.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: True friendship is rare on earth. True friendship offers glimpses of the heart. How well do you really know your friends? Begin to make a list of the intimate things the Lord reveals to you. When this happens, you will KNOW that you have friendship with the Father, because He has revealed His heart to you.

Dear Lord, Thank you for the privilege of access into Your Presence.  Help me to know the intimate joy of true friendship with You. May my heart be broken by the things that break Your heart, so that I will serve you with eternal prospective? In Jesus’ Name,

Amen.

PS. And Lord, when the burdens become too heavy, help me to release them back into Your strong arms. Forgive me for trying to carry stuff alone.
