John 12:36- “While ye have light, believe in the light”

Remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today

HIGH HOUR LIGHT

The high hour is often at noonday when the sun is brightest and best.

Lord, help me to be busy in service when laziness craves sweet rest.

Lord, walk across my weariness if discouragement attempts to grow.

Remind me Lord, of my Calling. It is my High Hour and I’ve far to go.

My prime is now, at this moment. My peak is at it’s zenith today.

Lord, may I be so focused on Your Coming that in this hour I live Your Way.

Shake off lethargic procrastination. Throw off those nights without sleep.

My High Hour is NOW and God is calling. Walk on to new heights and new peaks.

My High Hour is God’s window of opportunity. My High Hour is my place to obey.

My High Hour is a privilege with purpose. My High Hour is God’s Light every day.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Make two lists. Name them HIGH HOUR and LOW HOUR.

Track your life history reminding yourself when you knew God’s directions. eg. Call to salvation, Leading to education, Choice of living, employment, church home, Call to ministry,  current ministry etc. NOTE: Which calls and directions came in your HIGH HOUR. Conclusion: God speaks at all times if I listen.  List steps to maintain  a HIGH HOUR focus. Keep a disciplined maintenance program in place in your  spiritual life.

DEAR LORD, Thank you for establishing me in both the High and the Low Hours of life.

Thank You for the lessons I am learning in both seasons of service. Help me to find someone to encourage or mentor in the lows of their life. May I become so saturated in Your Word that I will respond and react like You . In Jesus’ Name, Amen
