John 21:7-“Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat unto him…and did cast himself into the sea.”

CRISIS OF ABANDONMENT

Impulsive Peter’s impetuous spirit plunged him deeply into the sea

Walking with recognition towards Jesus, human weakness is always to be.

Internal knowledge of Jesus erases timidity’s cowardly grip.

Personally knowing Jesus creates a strong surfer fully equipped.

Why do we hesitate with new endeavors? Why do we abort miraculous feats?

Is it because control is not relinquished to the One who conquers defeat?

Lord, help me launch out with abandon, exercising all the faith that I own.

Walking on water is impetuous but faith will always bring me safe home.

No, I may never walk on water. I may never climb lofty heights

But I know my God supplies miracles and offers me songs through the night.
