WORSHIP
In all the daily busyness of my dedication to the Lord
Has my focus changed or diminished? Do I concentrate on His Word?
Is my ministry more important than the Man from Galilee?
Are my organizations and programs all that anyone can see?
Lord, Walk across my aptitudes, my intellect and my heart.
Help me consolidate my devotion, fine tuning the anointed parts.
My work for You is vital. My preparations hold value too.
Lord, I repent in obedience. I neglected to focus first on You.
When I concentrate on Jesus, when my mind set is understood,
I’ll link arms with other servants where the fellowship is good.
We’ll worship and praise together. We’ll plan and pray and do.
Souls will be won for God’s harvest as we labor together anew.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Who is your closest co-laborer? Is there competition or co-operation and support? What part does worship offer to fine tune ministry relationships? If ALL ministry is for the Lord, I should be just as interested in yours as I am in mine. Note the times you have sincerely rejoiced in other ministries’ successes. How does God bless you in your unselfishness?
Dear Lord, In the ministry of daily living and our service for You, help me remember for whom we labor. Keep me rejoicing in all the successes of other ministries. Help me find ways to mentor and encourage other leaders. May I always be approachable enough to mentor, encourage and advertise other people’s ministry. Help me keep confidences. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
