SPIRITUAL SUCCESS

What is success for a Christian? What is true devotion to Him?

Success is intimacy with Jesus until all else decidedly grows dim.

What is success for a Christian? What motivates, prods or stirs?

It should be God and His Presence until programs and agendas blur.

Lord, captivate my spirit completely, until You become obviously seen.

Choosing to be willing and obedient disciples me to plant and to glean.

Leaning on Jesus is an attitude. Leaning on Jesus unlocks more.

More of His Divine Direction as His anointing blesses and pours.

Leaning on Jesus proves successful.  Jesus offers eternal rewards.

Deciding to follow Jesus is perpetual joy for those on board!

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: List the differences between discipleship and servant hood?

What are the similarities of each? Which areas are most difficult in your life?

Challenge- Circle your weakest area of discipleship or servant hood. Endeavor to conquer it for Jesus’ sake. Thought-Soul winning is true success for Christ.

Dear Lord, Thank you for the privileges of both servant hood and discipleship.

Help me to grow in the weakest areas of my life. Thank you for the strength I find in You, in Your Word and in the encouragement from fellow believers. Help me to “forsake not the assembling of ourselves together”. Keep me focused on winning souls for You. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
