ABANDONMENT
Abandonment means to relinquish. Relinquishing any rights to hold on.
Abandonment is a God-given privilege but I struggle when reality dawns.
What I learned to relinquish yesterday must be surrendered again today.
Abandonment is a daily process as intimacy grows God’s Way.
The daily discipline of obedience soon becomes a great way of life.
Until obedience to the Father no longer involves the surgeon’s knife.
Lord, do whatever corrective surgery is needed for intimacy to grow
I surrender with total abandonment because it offers privileges, I know.
Simplicity is part of abandonment. Truth and faith also walk there.
Questions are no longer important. Peace saturates my whispered prayer.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Questions sometimes indicate lack of confidence in the leader. Write the questions you most often ask God. Analyze them. What weakness do they reveal? What part does fear have in this list? How might your questions stifle your walk with God? Rewrite the questions creating positive statements of faith. Watch your faith grow.
Dear Lord, Thank You that You understand my questions and fears before they are voiced. Thank You for Your Divine patience with me today and everyday. Increase my faith Lord.
Help me to trust You more and forgive me when my faith is weak. In Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
