GRACIOUS UNCERTAINTY

If I have total certainty of what each day will bring

Then I have never launched out in faith enough to freely sing.

If I have total certainty, have each moment in detail planned

Then I have never known about faith, or the touch of my Father’s Hand.

Lord, keep my life so uncertain that I walk in the center of Your Will

May my mind be packed with uncertainty until sacred surprises fill.

In a loving relationship with Jesus, every day is an adventure with Him

Gracious uncertainty crowns my days and preplanned agendas dim.

Thank You Lord, for the privilege of gracious uncertainties with You

Ever moment will be an adventure as I leave my certainty resting in You.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Do you question abrupt changes in your life? What remarkable adventures have you had during uncertainties? List the lessons learned in those times of interruption and flexibility. From eternity’s point of view, list the changes that you later found to be divine appointments. What lessons in faith and trust did you learn? What events do you still not have reasons? Maybe it is none of your business yet!

NOTE- Being flexible and obedient through change does not abolish planning. Pray, plan and watch God orchestrate and rearrange your plans.

Dear Lord, Keep me wise enough to plan and flexible enough to follow. Your orchestrations are always the most harmonious. Help me stretch, bend and flex as I exercise my obedience in You. Thank you for the wise education you are  giving me. I am so thankful to be one of your disciples.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen
