SPONTANEITY

What is your spontaneity level?

Are you reserved, outgoing or sad?

Do you have an impetuous spirit?

Or does nothing make you glad?

The well springs of love are contagious.

The love of the Father is birthed in you

Spontaneity should burst forth in pleasure

Saturating whatever you say or do.

How do folk know that you love Him?

Who or what is your Source of joy?

Spontaneity reaches towards others

Offering God’s love for all to enjoy.

Lord, walk across my joy filled nature.

I’ve maturely tried to keep it in check.

Because I have no hidden agenda

It is my pride that I need to shipwreck.

I want to offer Your love in action.

I want to serve lovingly with joy.

The disapproval of “mature” others

Serves only to kill and destroy.

You have come to offer abundance.

You died to break captives free.

Thank you Lord for making me spontaneous

My bondage left when You died on the tree.

Dear Lord, Keep me wise. Help me to filter every spontaneous act through the wisdom and teaching of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for the joyful freedom I find serving You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
