Mark 9:9 – “He charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of Man was risen from the dead.”
Remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today
FULL STORY
They had witnessed miraculous healings
Watched blind folk supernaturally see,
They had eaten the food He multiplied
Knowing His Power could set men free.
They were cautioned to wait in silence.
Not telling the stuff that they knew.
What would we have done differently?
If that had been me or maybe you?
I think I would have whispered the story.
I think I would have gossiped some clues.
But Jesus had told them to wait a while.
Until they experienced the final news.
The Healer is part of the package.
The Provider is good news too.
But His Death and His Resurrection
Completed salvation’s program for you.
Later He sent the Comfort of His Spirit.
God’s bonus, not complete without this.
Thank you God, for wisely preparing
Such a fabulous message as His!
Lord, may we always declare the full gospel.
Not over emphasizing one part or two.
The best news of the entire Gospel message
Is His personalized redemption for you.
