KNOW THE DIFFERENCE

Do I know the definite difference of a life of obedience to Him?

Or do I drift and sift through experiences wondering if spirituality wins?

Do I know the definite difference of a life set apart for His Power?

Do I cleanse my heart from clutter when I take time to smell the flowers?

Flowers bloom as fragrance lingers. Flowers need both sunshine and rain.

IF I depend on God’s Word to nourish, every blessing from Him I’ll claim.

Lord, walk across my heart’s garden, discarding disobedient weeds today.

So that whatever blooms in my garden will practice Your Presence all day.

May I experience Your definite difference in every season as I grow

Until Your Presence makes such a difference that only You will show.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS or Points to Ponder: Why do you think Christ suffered so dreadfully for us? What glory was there in the crucifixion? In the resurrection? In Christ’s ascension? What impact have these three events had on your life? Your future?

DEAR Lord, Thank you for Your suffering to redeem me. May I always reflect Your Presence in my life so well that folk will realize the glory of Your forgiveness and Resurrection. Help me to lovingly share the miracles of your death, resurrection and ascension with others. May I make a difference in the lives of others for Your honor. May I always share the exciting hope we have knowing that You will someday return to this earth. Thank you for the truths found by reading the Bible. In Jesus’ Name I pray, AMEN.
