AUGUST 12
Matthew 8:26- “why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?”
Remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today
CONFIDENCE IN GOD
Father, I was so confident until I met that heartache last week.
Sailing through many trials before, I never thought my boat might leak.
But Father, today is entirely sad. I’m rattled and shook to the core.
Why so different from last week when I used to trust You more?
“My Child,” the Father calls to me. “My Child I know what you face.
Rely on Me when crisis comes. My Peace is available with Grace.
Last week’s Peace was for last week. Today’s needs will be met as well.
Rest in me with a joy-filled heart while Satan and his hosts go to hell.”
You have not lost any strength for today. God’s strategy is sacred and strong.
Be confident that God is working things out. The battle to God belongs.
So pick up the pieces of your broken heart. Give every shred to God.
He has a plan already in place as you submit to His chastening rod.
God is not the author of fear. He is gently offering Grace.
Pick up the threads of your broken life allowing Him to set the pace.
