WHISPERS OF WISDOM

Lord, I hear Your loving whispers, they caress me in the night.

They give direction through my day offering clarity and insight.

Lord, I feel Your tender prodding as You nudge my weary heart.

You and I know secrets that only deep intimacy imparts.

Lord, I feel Your gentle soothing when problems cloud my day.

You’re teaching me obedience when decisions tug and sway.

Lord, I submit to painful pruning as You walk across my heart.

You know the things I long for and You know what must depart.

Lord, I thank you for Your Presence. Thank You for choosing me.

Now walk across my heart again as I surrender all to Thee.

PONDER- Sensitivity to the nudging of the Spirit keeps the godliness alive and well in our lives. Hard hearts quench the Spirit. Welcome the Holy Spirit’s searchlight in your life.

List the things He is currently showing you that need spiritual attention. Each step of obedience creates intimacy with Him and offers the privileges of a glimpse of His heart.

Enjoy the journey into holiness as you learn more about the Master. Welcome Him.

Dear Lord, Thank you for the whispers that nudge me into Your Presence. Help me to be alert and obedient  the first  nudging. Forgive me for the times I ignored You. Thank you for Your Patience and loving reminders as You teach me Your ways. Thank you for the Word of God that is a searchlight in my life also. Thank you for leading me into deeper holiness with You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
