AN ACT OF GOD

I am lovingly infused by His Spirit. It was a holy act of God.

I have privileges as an offspring. I’m chosen, paid for with a nod.

The nod of His Divine Acceptance. The nod of “You’re mine and I’m His.

The nod of intimacy with my Father. The nod of “I’ll obey as He bids”

My purpose in life, is to serve Him. Days of uncertainty are passed.

All manner of privilege is my inheritance. My Father claimed me before I asked.

Now I can claim all His Promises. My future is settled at last.

By an Act of God I’m forgiven. Forgiveness eradicated my past.

By an act of my will, I now listen. By an act of God, I am free.

No longer to run my own agenda. By an act of God He leads me.

I found contentment in the center of His leading.

I’m walking through adventures every day.

An act of God was my answer.

Let Him infuse you today.

PONDER- Mary was infused by the Holy Spirit and gave birth to Jesus. When the Holy Spirit infuses a life for any reason, birthing takes place. What does God want to infuse in your life, that only intimacy with the Father will produce? What criteria is necessary for His infusion? Journal the steps to intimacy with God. Time is an important ingredient. Silence is another. Challenge-Turn off all TV, tapes, computers, books other than the WORD. Now the Lord has your full concentration. Immerse yourself in the Bible. Listen for the still, small voice of Him. Rejoicing at the birthing of new life in Him ahead for you.

Dear Lord, Thank You that You are waiting to infuse us with Your Presence if we are willing, open vessels. Help us clear the clutter of life enough to hear Your Voice. Forgive me for allowing distractions to silence Your longings for me. Thank you for the comfort of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for Your Patience. I await with joy the birthing of more of You in my life and relationships. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
