WELCOME TO A POETIC STUDY OF THE BEATITUDES-Matthew 5
BE ATTITUDES CREATE ME ATTITUDES
Have you submitted to an attitude check lately?
Look at any empty container. The potential for filling is unlimited. The intended use for a container is sometimes pre- determined but the possibility remains that if thought and freedom are involved, the container might have another delightfully creative use.
Inventions are discovered that way!
Have you ever used a flower vase to hold soap, a garbage can to store toys, a hot water bottle to carry milk, a tissue box to hide a gift, a paper bag or old sock to carry money, a fancy jewelry box to carry junk, a flower pot to hide money, a freezer to store your silverware or even your secret diary?
FIRST CHECK UP: What is your attitude about thinking outside of your comfort zone?
Thinking “outside the box” offers freedom.
Are you content with doing the usual, the expected, the mundane and the ordinary?
Maybe God has a
unique plan for your life that you’ve have missed? Have you allowed yourself to
dream dreams, to create ideas and to be
stretched in transparent prayer before Him? You are His TREASURE in earthen
vessel. Why not become the treasure God designed you to be?
SECOND CHECK UP: Would you notice when a sacred surprise knocks at your door?
Maybe God wants you to begin thinking and doing things “outside the box”.
Today might be your window of opportunity.
“WHATEVER LORD”, is a wonderfully emptying, yet refilling attitude!
Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly”
DO YOU ENJOY THE PRIVILEGES OF AN ABUNDANT LIFE?
LET’S GO FOR IT!
