BEAUTIFUL DAY

Emily, Papa and Nanny were planning a few days together. Papa promised to take Emily to Marine Land. Emily said, “Is that true, Papa? Are you really going to take me. I am so excited.

Later, Nanny said, “Emily, I think we’ll take you to the beach while you are with us. Won’t that be fun?”

“Yes,” replied Emily. But Nanny, aren’t we going to Marine Land?”

“Yes, darling, we are going to take you both places when you visit us.”

“Oh Nanny,” said Emily. “You’re making every day beautiful for me!”

Nanny smiled to herself, enjoying Emily’s appreciation.

Nanny pondered. “I wonder if we realize how much God loves us and wants to make every day beautiful for us. Have we ever thought of the effort He puts into planning beautiful things for us constantly.

Perhaps we don’t even realize or appreciate what He is doing for us regularly because we aren’t willing to spend time with Him to find out! When is the last time you visited God? Next time, watch for all the beautiful things He does.

Do you let Him make your life beautiful or are you too busy following your own pre-planned agenda?
