Poetry is a contagious joy. Children create it spontaneously.
Ruth, the daughter of our web site creator writes:
MY BIRDIE

Little birdie, oh so white
You’re never quiet, except at night.
Little birdie, oh so blue
I wish you’d say, “How do you do.”
Little birdie, oh so noisy
I wonder when you’ll stop your chirp?
Little birdie, oh so cute
You need a button on you that says “mute.”

Thanks Ruth. Thanks Shamini and Babu for being the parents of this wise child.
Silence is golden. Even the birds need to rest and be silent at times. How about you today?
Do you ever spend time in silence before the Lord? Have you given HIM any time or space to speak to you. Ten-year old Ruth is wise enough to know the value of MUTE buttons. DO YOU?
Dear Lord, in the busyness of today. Give us pockets of silence so YOUR VOICE can be heard. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN
Ecclesiastes 3:1&7
“There is a time for everything….a time to be silent and a time to speak”
PS. Who controls your TV and your remote control? You or a little birdie?
