TO A BIRTH MOTHER

Did you give up your child for adoption?

Did you loose a child that you loved?

Dear Mother, whose arms became empty

Your heart broke when push came to shove.

Every birth date, you cry through your praying.

Every Mother’s Day you’re depleted of joy.

You often wonder about your dear little baby.

At Christmas, you sadly yearn to buy toys.

Dear Mother, our God has the answer

He is aware of what happened to you.

His personal Presence is available

His tender comforts await you too!

You decided what was BEST for your baby.

You followed the advice you were told.

Your baby, whom God sent from heaven

Is your treasure, more precious than gold.

God has a plan for all babies.

His hand holds protection and care.

He will watch over your baby

When a Mommy can’t always be there.

Stop fretting. Now pray for that baby.

Stop beating yourself about past sin.

God, the Creator of every baby

Wants to heal you without and within.

Trust God to care for that baby.

Trust God to care for you too.

Maybe someday up in heaven

Your baby will offer thanks to you.

 The adoptive parents are tickled.

They treasure their child from your arms.

Your baby is God’s blessing from heaven.

A baby’s love heals sad, empty arms.

Release, forgiveness and redemption

Are your gifts from the Father above?

Reinvest the love that you’re missing

And peace will flow in like a dove.

Receive peace for past decisions you handled.

Choose forgiveness from the Father above.

You’re a Mother who is loved by the Savior

Pray blessing on this child, double loved.

God is using your dear baby, already.

God is answering the prayers of your heart.

Your baby is a blessing surrendered.

Now, allow yourself God’s new start.

“Thank you, dear Mom.” Says the new Mother.

“Thank you, Mom” says the proud Dad.

“We’ll promise to pray for each other.

God will teach us His plans for your Lad.”
