December 13- Luke 18:1-“Men ought always to pray, and not to faint.”
Remember to read MY UTMOST for HIS HIGHEST for Today
OUCH!
I cannot pray realistically until I feel their pain within.
I cannot pray with purpose until I let God’s Spirit in.
The prayers I daily utter might be eloquent or grand.
But I do not pray with Power until I obey the Lord’s command.
Intercessory prayer is groaning. It is the result of heavy travail.
Intercessors move with discernment walking deep within the veil.
Intercessors need to be cautious, revealing enough but not too much.
Intercessors walk in the Spirit and understand His healing Touch.
Intercessors share the burdens of lonely, wounded souls.
Intercessors can keep a confidence while following God’s control.
Intercessors can release their burdens without minimizing any pain.
Intercessors are intimate with the Father and pray in Jesus’ Name.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Have you had the experience of someone who TRULY carried your burden in prayer? Reminisce. Sometimes prayer confidences are broken. Have you forgiven that betrayal? Write a prayer of forgiveness. Journal the importance of confidentiality in prayer. Good manners suggest that those praying be informed when the answer is released. It is never too late to report. Sometimes prayer is work. It is not for the lazy or weak. Begin a lifetime journal of travail for others. You might want to keep this a secret journal. Welcome to an adventure in prayer. Praise Him.
DEAR LORD, Thank you for the privilege of prayer. Help me to keep on praying even when it seems hopeless.
Forgive me for the laziness that makes excuses discouraging me from praying. Thank you in advance, for answered prayer. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN
