December 20- John 12:32-“I, if I be lifted up will draw all men unto Me.”
Remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today
SPIRITUAL SYMPATHY
Sympathy is a wonderful thing. It comforts the listener awhile.
Gaining attention to help oneself, while bravely trying to smile.
Too much sympathy stifles the plan of God. Sympathy could be laziness at it’s best.
Sympathy lightens a bereavement time but sympathy could plant unrest.
A wounded soul needs Truth and Light. A sinful soul has choices to make.
Sympathizing too deeply and too long weakens eternal values at stake.
Lift up the Lord and lift Him high. Souls will be drawn to Him.
Give Him glory, give Him praise and the pain of living becomes dim.
Face the truth and face it now. Tomorrow might be too late.
Let Him draw near to comfort you because Jesus and you have a date!

Praise Him in your written ministry of encouragement. Have you ever had a date with Jesus? Try it. Encourage others to do the same.
DEAR LORD, Thank you for walking with me through all the disappointments and hurts of my life. Thank you for showing me Your Hand in these events. Thank you for the Bible that I read regularly to comfort and teach me. Help me to perpetually look for your Presence and Power in everything. “For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. “ In Jesus; Name, AMEN
