GLIMPSE

I caught a glimpse in my mind today

Of what almost came to be.

I’m thankful for the Lord above

Who in love came and rescued me.

I caught a glimpse in my heart today

Of what He had saved me from.

I’m eternally grateful for what He did

And most of all for God’s Son.

I caught a glimpse in my mind today

Of the potential He has planned for me

Lord, thank You for the privilege to serve

May my life become hidden in Thee.

I caught a glimpse in someone else

Of the promises God has in store

Help me to live in such a way

That I encourage that soul even more!

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Every once in a while, it is good to do a reality check. From where did I come? Where might I have been but for the GRACE OF GOD? List where you were. List what you have become because of Jesus Christ. REJOICE. Write a thank you note to the Lord.

DEAR LORD, Thank you for rescuing me from my downward path without YOU. Thank you for the hope and the future that is mine because of Calvary. Thank you that my past is forgiven and forgotten. Thank you for the blood of Jesus that was shed to pay the price of my sins. Praise You. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
