FILL ME

Fill me with Your Spirit, Lord

You have released me from sin.

Help me to walk within Your will

So that other souls might win.

Fill me with Your Presence, Lord

Until You alone are seen.

When my life is hidden in Yours

I’ll never wonder ‘What might have been’.

‘What might have been’ is a sinful waste.

‘What might have been’ is not pure.

“What might have been’ shows a broken heart

For all the above, You are the cure.

Fill me, Lord, with a grateful heart.

Fill me with Your Holy Spirit within.

Keep me alert to who You are

Contentment in You never dims.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Peace and contentment are lost commodities in the world today. Journal how you found both of these in your Lord and Savior.  Observe friends and neighbors around you. How can you convince them that God’s Peace and Godly Contentment are possible in this generation and at this time in history? Journal your strategy.

DEAR LORD: Thank you that if I walk in Your Spirit, I will carry Your Peace and Contentment with me everywhere and in all circumstances. Help me to grow deeper in the truths and attributes of the Holy Spirit. May I breathe in His Holy Presence and exhale His Divine Peace. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
