I DIDN’T KNOW

I didn’t know what I was saved from

Until I surrendered my sin sick soul.

I didn’t know God’s purposes

Until I saw a life made whole.

I didn’t know His Majesty

Until I saw a baby born.

I didn’t know His awesome Power

Until I saw a life transformed.

I didn’t know His sacrifice

Until I felt His Holy Peace.

He left all heaven’s splendor

To offer my sin’s release.

I didn’t know the privileges

I have in the Holy Ghost

Until I began to exercise them daily

Finding that obedience blesses the most.

DEAR LORD: Thank you for the privileges of knowing and loving you. Thank you for loving me when I was so unlovable and unlovely. I thank you that God no longer views me as a sinner. Like a kaleidoscope mirror’s reflection, God sees me through the shed blood of Jesus as sin free and as something beautiful in God’s eyes.  Praise Him and thank you Lord. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
