YESTERDAY

The end of the year and all yesterdays

Is happening right here today.

The end of all promises for yesterday

Are unfulfilled and have wasted away.

What was my security for yesterday?

What were my hopes in the past?

What are God’s promises for tomorrow?

Old promises that I made don’t last.

God help us to face each tomorrow

With the peace He gives to our hearts.

Help us to live each tomorrow

Knowing nothing will tear us apart.

Nothing can separate us from His loving.

Nothing will remove us from His care.

No matter our age, wages or station

He can be reached by a whispered prayer.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  With joy MDB

He’s as close as the mention of His Name!

DEAR LORD, At the end of this year, I want to thank You for Your abundant blessings and love.

Thank you for Your Presence in my life. Thank you that I know You better today, than I did last year at this time.

May I know you more tomorrow than I did today?
