December 6 – Genesis 9:13-“I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of

 a covenant between Me and the earth.”

A COVENANT RELATIONSHIP

A covenant is a promise and a standard.

It is an agreement between two or more

A covenant is a milestone with progress

A covenant might have witnesses galore.

What is my covenant with Jesus?

I know what His is to me.

What have I promised to give Him?

What in obedience should I see?

What is my covenant to the Father?

Have I helped another soul in deep need?

Or did I hesitate to take any action

Hoping to unobtusively plant seed?

What is my covenant to the Spirit?

Do I use my prayer language as a gift?

Or do I wait until prompted by bondage

Then pray up a storm matching wits?

I hope that my covenant with Jesus

Carries gratitude with joy in my heart.

Knowing that my covenant with the Spirit

Contains intimacy which will never depart.

And Oh, the blessings of the Father

The Peace and Truths that He plans

A covenant relationship with the Godhead

Will permeate all of life’s daily demands.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Why did God put a rainbow in the sky after the flood? What promised covenants has God given to you? Journal the joy of knowing you have a covenant relationship with the Father.

DEAR LORD: Thank You for the Word of God that is saturated with Your Promises.  Help me to find proof of Your promises everyday and to share that discovery with others. Thank You that Your Promises are new every morning.

Help me to stand on those Promises declared in Your Word, every day. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
