IMAGINATION

If my creative imagination is a gift sent from the Lord

Then in my mind I’m thinking that I will never be bored.

If my surrendered imagination is anointed completely for Him

Then everyday is an adventure that He will eventually win.

Lord, walk across my imagination keeping me fully focused on You.

Until all that I ever imagine, becomes saturated with eternity’s view.

Lord recreate, use and mold me. May I be patterned after Your Will?

So that even in my old age, I’ll welcome adventures in godliness still.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: One of God’s gifts to us is our imagination. Journal times when you have proved it. How might fear stifle God given imagination? What part does creativity play in our imaginations? What ideas has God given you that your imagination began to use? Remembering Whose we are stabilizes imaginations. Explain.

DEAR LORD, Thank You for the imagination You placed inside of me. Thank You for faith and obedience. Help me to listen to Your Voice and then use my God given imagination to work out the details of Your direction for my life. Thank You for the privilege of being a conduit of service for Your honor and Your Glory. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
