DRUDGERY
If I perform a work of drudgery, if I do a thankless task
The Holy Spirit’s approval is a secret joy in which I bask.
If I wash wounded feet in humility, loving a soul I met today.
The Holy Spirit gives honor; hurting hearts are healed that way.
If I do a mundane duty, silently representing the Holy One
Then any anonymous serving creates a place for Christ to come.
Lord; walk across all drudgery that is essential throughout each day.
Remind me that You are leading, creating holiness Your Infinite Way.
The more I obey in secret, observed only by my Lord
The more I give God pleasure as working with Him in one accord.

a servant heart would notice. ENJOY the secrets you and the Lord are about to share.
“ARISE and SHINE” will become an adventure for you.
When God leads you to a mundane ministry, His Presence with yours will hallow it.
DEAR JESUS, Praise you for the privilege of serving You. Thank you for opening my heart and mind to the mundane, drudgeries of life. Thank you that wherever my steps go with YOU, Holy Ground is create. Moses met You and so can I. (Ex. 3:5-“The place whereon thou standest is holy ground”) Thank You Lord, that even interruptions which seem mundane, might become a call to prayer and ministry from You. Thank You for the Peace of Your Presence that I carry into every situation and circumstance of life. Thank You for being a God of detail. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN
“My Presence shall go with thee and I will give thee rest.”-Exodus 33:14
