John 4:11- “Sir, Thou has nothing to draw with.”
Remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today
LORD, YOU HAVE NOTHING
Imagine the audacity of telling the Lord He is ill equipped
Imagine the insecurities of heart when sinners question Him a bit.
Imagine the audacity of soul inferring that Jesus’ blood did not suffice
To save my soul from eternal death. Unforgiveness within pushed advice.
Lord, forgive my ignorant audacity. My heart was struggling within.
You died for every part of my past, forgiving myself is where I’ll begin.
Opening my heart to trust You more, I’ll daily walk into Your truths
You had plenty of vessels to fill, but You chose to reach this old youth.
Forgive me Lord, as I wait by the well. Forgive me Lord, when I stray.
Forgive me for not trusting enough, I’m a vessel made with Your clay.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: The woman at the well was surprised to see Jesus. Have you needed refreshing and Jesus showed up? Journal the blessings.
Forgiveness of self is often the biggest deterrent to coming to Christ. We cannot forgive ourselves, but He does. The enemy of our soul enjoys taunting us with history. Jesus wants to rewrite your history. In fact He has. Receive His complete forgiveness. Are you inferring that the Lord’s death was not sufficient for your sins? What bigger sacrifice are you asking? The audacity of it! You are totally and completely loved and forgiven. His grace is sufficient for you and for me.
DEAR LORD, Forgive me for my lack of trusting in Your total forgiveness. Thank you for coming to this earth with an agenda. You came to die for my sins. Such love overwhelms me. Help me to daily enjoy the freedom of Your forgiveness and share this message with others. Yes, Lord, You do have many vessels to fill. Thank You for choosing me to be one of Your Vessels of Honor. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
PS. Water pots can be empty or filled. Water pots are only as useful as they pour out. To whom will you offer refreshing today?
