BURNING – PURIFICATION –INSULATION

Unless there is a burning of me and my own way

There can never be an empty space for God to work today.

Unless there is a burning a vessel is not pure.

Unless there is purification God will not provide His cure.

Unless there is purification there can never be a view

Of what God has to offer when holiness shines through.

Unless there is a burning, a purifying and a release

There will never be an anointing with the Holy Spirit’s peace.

So burn off selfish endeavors.

Purify your thoughts and minds

When the Spirit’s Presence lingers

Insulation in Him you’ll find.

Journal about the times you have felt spiritual burning. What was the result of this purifying process? What part does surrender play? Are you ready and willing?

What do you think will be God’s purpose? What circumstances does He use for insulation and healing?

Dear Lord, Thank you for the daily processes you bring into my life.  Help me to notice the purifying and be quick to respond. Thank you for Your deep love and concern for me.

As a Father, you convict me but never condemn me. Thank you for the encouragement you send my way throughout the refining processes in my spiritual journey.
