I Thessalonians 5:23-24-“The very God of peace sanctify you wholly.”

Remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today

SANCTIFICATION

God’s point of view is holy.

There is precious intimacy with Him.

God’s point of view is focused

One with Him is where to begin.

Concentration on your Heavenly Father.

Involves body, soul and spirit care

When saturated with the Master only

Offers a place to where one can repair.

It costs to be sanctified wholly.

Friends may not understand your point of view.

The cost of sanctification is evident

Until Christ can be seen in you.

Sanctification includes me with the Father.

Sanctification offers freedom within.

Sanctification has purpose with direction.

Obedience is where sanctification begins.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: If sanctification is serious concentration on learning God’s point of view, how might one prepare oneself for sanctification. What in my life currently reminds those around me about Jesus? Sanctification is hard work until surrender comes.

Journal the results of this process in your life. At what point did you notice it became easier?

DEAR LORD, thank you for dying for me so that I could be saved from a dreadful eternal future. Thank you that sanctification is one of the fringe benefits of daily walking closer to you. Help me to be less lazy in my obedience. Thank you for the fact that you use all kinds of vessels. I know that clean, sanctified ones are your preference.

Help me not to be critical of those whose journey is different from mine. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
