We thank God for the gifting and the wisdom of our Granddaughter who wrote this poem. From a very tiny child, her friendships have been important to her. She understands the importance of friendships. She nurtures them.

Proverbs 17:17 “A friend loveth at all times.”

FRIENDS

Friends are here. Friends are there.

Friends are almost everywhere.

Having friends is such a joy.

Maybe a girl, maybe a boy!

When there’s nothing else to do,

Friends are there when you’re sad or blue.

You can always rely on a friend

‘Cause they’ll be with you ‘til the end!

So be a friend truthful and smart

And they’ll be with you in your heart.

Who is your best friend? We have the privilege of taking our friends to heaven with us.

Do they know the Way? Do you know the Way to heaven?

Jesus said, “I am the Way the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me.”

If you truly value your friends, you’ll want to spend eternity with them.

Let’s make sure we are forever friends.

John 3:16- For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting Life.

You can substitute you or your friend’s name in this verse.

For God so loved Nanny that if Nanny believes in Him, Nanny will not perish but have everlasting life.

Wow Now, that’s friendship. Jesus is Nanny’s best friend. Is He yours?
