GOD IS WEEPING

God is weeping for our children.

Loving concern is what He does best.

What will become of our children?

When will a parent find rest?

God is weeping for our children.

He sees every wayward way.

He knows all the intimate details

He knows what makes parents afraid.

God is weeping for our children.

He caresses their wounded hearts.

He is tenaciously holding on to them

Even when Satan tries to tear them apart.

God is weeping for our children.

They are in God’s healing waiting room.

God is weeping for our children

When parents feel a sense of doom.

God is weeping for our children.

He knows the hurt that betrayal brings.

He knows which choices make a difference.

He wants to encourage our hearts to sing.

God is weeping for our children.

He knows the darkness and the fright

God continues to hold our children.

When it seems like Satan wins every fight.

God is weeping for our children.

He knows the causes and the cures.

God is weeping for our children.

His tears provide cleansing pure.

God is weeping for our children.

He longs to give us release.

He is not the author of confusion

Because in Him is perfect peace.

God is weeping for all His children.

He sees the tentacles of sin.

He knows the confusion of varied opinions

That undermines parental peace within.

Parents are also God’s Children.

He offers to stand in our place.

When we come to the end of our weeping.

He provides rest as He picks up the pace.

Because we too are God’s children,

And as a result of our broken hearts,

We are given a glimpse of Jesus’ Sacrifice.

Fellowship with His Suffering is a hallowed part.

Because He weeps for His Children,

Because this child is ours,

He carries our loved one even closer.

His Patience surpasses ours.

Dear Parent with deep, heavy burdens,

Dear Parent with wounds and deep scars,

The Father who created your child

Loves with a love that is more powerful than ours.

Commit your child once more to HIS FATHER.

Also commit yourself to God’s Care.

When you are worn out and frazzled.

The loving Father will always be there.
