HATS OFF TO WOMEN

Women wear numerous responsibility hats.

We are businesswomen, mothers and friends.

We’re daughters, wives and confidants

 Godly stability through life seasons depends.

If a woman maintains her loving hat

Forgiveness is active throughout her life.

Women sail through trials and change

Defusing the potential of unsettling strife.

If I want to be a Woman of God

Graciously wearing the hats change brings

Then I will spend time with the Lord of it all

Offering each hat as a gift to my King.

If I desire to be a Woman of God

Trustworthy for the ministry He planned

I will relinquish personal agendas to Him

Cherishing the moments and people at hand.

Lord help me relinquish my agendas and time.

Help me not  hold any hat too close.

In heaven when I see You face to face

We’ll discuss which hat I cherished the most.

Hats are symbols of assignments from God.

Hats offer authorization for work this hour.

The only way to flex to life’s change

Is to walk in His strong Spirit’s Power.

Lord, You wore a crown made of thorns for me.

Your hat covered my sin and my shame.

You knew each season of change in my life

Through Your Pain you released my blame.

I’ll never need  wear a crown of thorns.

I’ll never have to die on a cross.

But as I pick up my daily chores

I am reminded of what Your Hat cost.

Help  me  represent You well today.

Lord, thank you for dying for me.

Please anoint the hat I am wearing now.

As I surrender my future to Thee.
