HONEY BEAR FINDS A FRIEND

Honey Bear never forgot how wonderful it was to be found and returned to Ashlyn’s welcoming arms.  She will be forever grateful for her rescue.

One day, while visiting Nanny’s office Honey Bear glanced around at all the cabinets, boxes and book shelves. Honey Bear was thankful that she hadn’t been lost in this place. It was even more frightening than Florida. What a mess!

Emily and Ashlyn often traded toys. One day when Emily had permission to share Ashlyn’s new magnetic dalmation, Emily lost it.  She knew it was at Nanny’s house but where had she put it? Ashlyn was justifiably annoyed that her brand new magnetic dalmation, Spot was lost. Ashlyn reminded Emily in no uncertain terms that she better find a replacement for Spot on the internet and quickly!

“Borrowers have responsibilities” , Ashlyn declared. Emily was distraught. She asked everyone to help her search, to no avail.

Two weeks later, Nanny was dumping old files, letters and sentimental things out of her office. The shredder was working overtime. Dump went the first load and the second. Finally the job was  almost done. Honey Bear kept out of the way.

Nanny brushed her hand across the metal draw. Something was sticking out of it.

Nanny looked again.  Honey Bear began to sing, “She lost it, she lost it, the little tiny toy. She found it. We found it and now we have such joy”

Nanny ran to the phone. “Guess what, she said, Tell Emily that  Honey Bear and I found Spot.” We had been looking in all the wrong places.

Honey Bear says,  “God can use all things for His honor, even tidy-up times!” Keep looking for the lost in out of the way places.

Those who are found are equipped to find others!  Relationships repaired create a joy shared.”
