Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

1.     To whom was Jesus speaking during the Sermon on the Mount?

 

2.      List the characteristics of a hypocrite.

 

3.     What does the term “BLESSED” mean to you?

 

4.     Make a list of current BLESSINGS in your life.

 

5.     List memories of BLESSINGS of the past.

 

6.     Is it possible for a person to miss receiving a Blessing God planned? Why?

 

7.     How might personal fears or controls stifle Blessings? Give an example.

 

8.     From where do true BLESSINGS come?

DEAR LORD, Thank You for loving me just as I am. Thank You for the many blessings You have given me all my life. I realize that You are the Source of every life blessing. Help me to prepare my heart to see more of Your Blessings today. Thank you for the renewed attitude of joy and peace that You give. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
