Philippians 3:10-“That I may know Him.”

Please remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today

I MUST

I must be busy for Jesus. Time is wasting and running today.

I must be active for Jesus. Satan thrives when people delay.

“Hold on. My Child”, calls the Father. “Hold on in your quick, frantic pace.

Wonderful things to be accomplished. What would Jesus do in your place?

Everything that’s done by a Christian must point to the Savior alone.

If busyness is all that you’re after, beware of becoming activity prone.

STOP. Do only His bidding. STOP. Check your race and the pace.

Wait in His Presence a moment. Ask what Jesus would do in this place?”

Jesus would give God the glory. Jesus would seek no applause.

Jesus would quietly serve Him. Jesus would not rush. He would pause.

Pause a moment, dear Pilgrim. Wait until His Presence has sway.

Stopping long enough to listen. Must be part of God’s plan for today.

PONDER-Sometimes God brings us back to the same lessons again and again. Why?

List the lessons you seem to keep having to relearn. Intimacy with the Father is created in His Presence. Could the relearning be one of God’s tool  to draw you closer to Himself?

Dear Lord, Thank you for the loving way You teach and draw us to Yourself. Help me to stop long enough to listen and learn something from You everyday. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
